Balancing

It is recommended that all driveshafts are balanced once they have had any type of modification.

Precision Driveline is running the most up to date operating system for their four (4) pedestal horizontal balancing machine.

The Workshop

The workshop consists of the latest and most sophisticated equipment to ensure that the products which leave the workshop are of the best standard first time, every time.

The workshop consists of all the tooling to successfully modify any type and size Driveshaft and carry all the relative components for the most common shafts. Only the best quality Driveshaft Components are used on all repair work to ensure a longer lifespan and to maintain their high reputation in this industry. All welding procedures have been tested and approved by the appropriate authorities to ensure they meet the SAA code (AS1554.1-1991).

The SCHENCK CAB 840

At Precision, we have the latest "State of the Art" Schenck Cab 840 which is capable of balancing from single piece to three piece shafts in a wide range of diameters, in four planes.

Being a fully digital measuring unit, a computer generated Balancing Certificate is offered with each job to satisfy our procedures. This certificate will include the date, time, customer name, customer order number, relative part numbers, all the machine settings but more importantly the residual out of balance for that particular job to ISO 1940/1-1986 [E].
